2. Client Responsibilities and Permitted Use

• Ensure that your website and target content do not infringe upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.

• Quality Standards: Every site pitched is screened against our quality metrics (real organic traffic, topical relevance, domain authority, and clean backlink profiles). We do not use private blog networks (PBNs) or link farms.
• Placement Replacement Guarantee: If an editorially placed link is removed, broken, or marked nofollow within twelve (12) months of publication, BacklinksGeek will replace the placement on a site of equivalent or greater authority at no additional cost.

5. Search Engine Guidelines and Disclaimers

BacklinksGeek operates with rigorous screening and editorial standards to maximize organic authority and minimize algorithmic risk. However:

• Search engines such as Google frequently update their ranking algorithms, indexing policies, and crawling behaviors.
• While strategic backlinks are a proven organic growth factor, we do not make guarantees of specific search engine ranking positions, exact traffic numbers, or AI engine citations, as these variables depend on numerous factors outside our direct control (e.g. on-page SEO, technical health, competition, and search engine updates).

6. Fees, Payment, and Invoicing

Pricing and payment schedules are set forth in your individual service agreement or invoice:

• Monthly retainer programs and project packages are billed in advance of outreach execution unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Invoices are payable upon receipt via our approved payment gateways.
• Because manual outreach involves immediate labor, prospecting, and editorial costs, fees paid for completed outreach milestones or live placements are non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials on the BacklinksGeek website—including text, graphics, logos, brand elements, and website code—are the intellectual property of BacklinksGeek and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Content created specifically for your outreach placements is licensed or assigned to you or the publishing host as outlined in the service agreement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BacklinksGeek and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, or search engine ranking changes) arising out of or related to your use of our website or link building services. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to BacklinksGeek in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing link building engagement by providing thirty (30) days' written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, you remain responsible for fees corresponding to outreach work already performed or placements in production prior to the effective date of cancellation.
